Most Photoshop 6 tutorials also work the same in PS7. I don't really follow many tutorials, so I don't know any of the good sites with tutorials, but if you run a search on www.google.com for Photoshop tutorials you should get something. Even if they are for PS6, they will most likely work in PS7.

Just called USCIS to find out the estimated processing time to get gc for indyanguy. you will get it in 265 days and 2 hours.

this is my experience - I efiled for myself for EAD only (no AP applied so far - we had been to India recently) and I got a FP notice. for my wife, we renewed by postal mail and she didnt get any FP notice -- we already recd her EAD card (in roughly 25 - 30 days).
I had efiled mine few days before her and so
far nothing - only soft LUD's.
and yes ..EAD was renewed for only one year ..so I guess USCIS still treats this as a cash cow !!!http://immigrationvoice.org/forum/images/smilies/mad.gif

I don't think there is any clause related to NON-RIR or RIR or PERM labor when it comes to 7th year extension according to yates memo. Once your application has been filed 365 days before and if you have a case number assigned you can use that case number to show USCIS that your labor was indeed pending for 365 days. Since you already approved for 7th year extension and looking for 8th year extension you have no problem and with the new employer you can get 8th year extension plus H1 transfer together.

Yes you can apply, but you need to have a Co-signee who is either a US citizen or Permanent resident

Your I-94 SHOULD have the same number as the old one!
Whether they give you a new white and stamped or the printed I-797 I-94 is a moot point. The validity date and the number is what matters.
I was once given a new I-94 after visa stamping in Canada at the Derby Line border post in VT with the same I-94 # as the old (and printed I-797 I-94) for a $6 charge.
You saved $6. Go buy nice milkshakes for the family and be cool.
It is a non-issue.

The officer did not put a seal with the expiry date (normally they put a seal on I-94 mentioning the visa type and expiry date) on the right part. If I am surrendering this part while leaving the country,how can they determine if I overstayed my I-94 date or not since there is no expiry date on the bottom right part.

The whole non-compete agreement is a cruel joke on the employee who finds his own project. All these incapable bad desi employers ban the employee from joining the client whom the employee got them in the first place.
I know a friend of mine works for an employer, he found his own project through a vendor, now because of non-compete agreement he cannot join the client, nor the vendor and now the employer and vendors are buddies and thinking of other business opportunities. In all this the employee is the loser while it was he who brought the employer and vendor together into minting more money at his expense.
This is especially true of smaller companies. Big companies at least have real end clients and find projects. With smaller companies, employee finds projects, helps build client list for his company, gets paid less than market rate, etc.
If the GC process were smoother, a lot of such employers would shut down. Their business model is helped by the immigration mess....

You took this whole issue personal. I was merely fore-warning about what had happened. Since we all ( GC expectants) are going thru horrible agony, devil tricks you to circumvent the system, especially people like Dr. Ramesh.
On seperate note, citizenship can be revoked. Their are creterions for revocation, but this indian-origin doctor is not going to be stripped off his citizenship. I will certainly hope this happens to him, but I know it won't.

I filled my 485 in july fiasco at Nebraska service center. Today I recieved an online update on my and my wife case (485) saying that case has been transfered to miami,fl , the reason is because it falls under that jurisdiction.
I am EB3 India, PD Aug 2002.
I already recieved my EAD,AP
Let me know your thoughts or if some one else also recieve the same update.

I filed I-140 at NSC on 07/27/2007 LUD - 01/02/2008, but my current case status reads as below
The I140 IMMIGRANT PETITION FOR ALIEN WORKER was transferred and is now pending standard processing at a USCIS office. You will be notified by mail when a decision is made, or if the office needs something from you. If you move while this case is pending, please use our Change of Address online tool to update your case with your new address. We process cases in the order we receive them. You can use our processing dates to estimate when this case will be done, counting from when USCIS received it. Follow the link below to check processing dates. You can also receive automatic e-mail updates as we process your case. To receive e-mail updates, follow the link below to register.

I do not see why anyone should not travel on Air France or Lufthansa. You are not changing airports at Paris or Frankfort. So there is no requirement for a visa. It seems to be a simple one.
What you think , doesn't matter.
Cant fly through FRANCE/UK for sure, without a valid US visa stamped.
People had issues even with Lufthansa, but as per law on the German Consulate , a person should be able to transit through Germany. But i would avoid it.
Emirates/Direct AI/Continental should be OK from East Coast.

Whats the reason for the denial ?

It is hard to say. I am in the same situation as you (filed concurrently by June 21). I believe it is not worth giving them an extra $1000, and for what. You already have filed your I-485. What is the downside?
